Lufthansa strike extended

Long distance and cargo flights

Today's strike of Lufthansa pilotes affects short and medium haul operations, including several flights from Austria to Germany and vice versa. The German association Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) now announced an extension for tomorrow, March 19th 2015.

While short haul flights will be resumed, long distance and cargo flights won't be operated. The strike won't affect Eurowings and Germanwings.

Lufthansa will publish a special flight schedule at noon in order to enable passengers to check their flights and possibilities for rebooking or cancellation.
