The vast majority of eligible consumers entitled to refunds have already been contacted. However, there are still former FTI and BigXtra customers who booked a package holiday with one of the insolvent companies and who have not yet been reached. With the newly opened registration portal, the claims of all consumers who register for the process can now be verified.
Registration on the open online portal is simple: simply enter your so-called Toma transaction number (if you booked through FTI Touristik GmbH) or your booking number (if you booked through BigXtra Touristik GmbH) along with your personal data. You will then receive a PIN letter. With the PIN provided in the letter, you can apply for inclusion in the reimbursement process via a further online portal. Once this process has been completed, the reported bookings are checked to determine whether they are indeed refundable package holidays and associated travel services or non-refundable individual tourism services. If a claim for a refund is justified, consumers will be invited to enter the refund process.
At the same time, the review and processing of already submitted refund requests, as well as the corresponding payments, are continuing to progress.
In addition to the open portal, there is also the option of submitting refund requests by post. Please refer to the DRSF's reimbursement guide for more information.
