Powers of attorney

If a European Consumer Centre is to handle your complaint against a company, it needs your written permission to intervene on your behalf. Therefore, please check the company's website in the legal notice to see where the company is based!

The country in which the company is based determines which authorisation we need to be able to help you. If the company is based in Germany (e.g. TUI, Lufthansa, Copecart,... ) or in Sweden (e.g. Klarna) or in Luxembourg (e.g. Amazon, PayPal, Advanzia), please use the ECC power of attorney for that country from the list below. For all other countries, please use the power of attorney of ECC Austria.

For complaints against healthcare providers (e.g. dental services, laboratory diagnoses, pharmacies, etc.), please also sign the release from medical confidentiality listed below.

Power of attorney for complaints against companies from Germany

Power of attorney for complaints against companies from Luxembourg

Power of attorney for complaints against companies from Sweden

Power of attorney for complaints against companies from countries other than the three countries listed above

Once you have completed and signed the POA, you can start our complaints form. On page 6, the input screen will ask you to upload these documents.
