Powers of attorney

If a European Consumer Centre is to handle your complaint against a company, it needs your written permission to intervene on your behalf. Therefore, please check the company's website in the legal notice to see where the company is based! The country in which the company is based determines which authorisation we need to be able to help you. If the company is based...

  • ... in Germany (i.e. for TUI, Lufthansa, Copecart)
    oder
  • ... in Sweden (i.e. for Klarna)
    oder
  • ... in Luxembourg (i.e. for Amazon, PayPal, Advanzia),
then please use the corresponding ECC authorisation from the download list below.

  • For all other countries, please use the power of attorney from ECC Austria.

  • In the case of complaints against healthcare providers (e.g. dental services, laboratory diagnoses, pharmacies, etc.), please also sign the release from medical confidentiality

  • In the case of complaints against unjustified debt collection claims, you should also sign the affidavit.

Once you have filled out and signed the document, you can start our complaints form. On page 6, the input mask will ask you to upload these documents.
