The European Central Bank (ECB) has presented the new 20 Euro banknote which will be brought in circulation on November 25, 2015. Following the €5 and €10 notes, this is the third banknote of the so called "Europe Series".
The aim of this series is to make the Euro more safe against counterfeiting. A technical innovation is the new portrait window which becomes visible when the banknote is held against light. It shows Europa, a figur of the Greek mythology and name giver of the continent.
