Air Passenger Rights: Many obstacles for consumers

The number of people travelling by air keeps increasing. That is why air passenger rights are one of the most important consumer rights within the EU. However, since the beginning of 2015, European Consumer Centres received more than 4000 complaints from consumers across Europe who had difficulties receiving compensation in case of delayed or cancelled flights.

Not a day passes without reports about attacks, plane crashes, hijacks, hostage-taking or bombings. ECJ: No "safe harbor" USA

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has decided that the USA are no "safe harbor" for personal data of EU citizen. With this ruling, the ECJ has withdrawn a decision of the EU Commission from 2000. It could have far-reaching consequences for internet companies.

Air Lituanica in bankruptcy
